THE STORY

In the late 70's, our hero and narrator - Terry -  was running the late-night Dallas gay bar scene. After last call, he decided to take his tastes underground... where he met a curious blonde boy... who seduced him into what escalated into kidnapping and violent sexual assault.

While he survived, it left him looking over his shoulder for years.

THE INCIDENT is an intimate true story about the extremes the human psyche will go to to avoid healing itself.

After years of trying to put the trauma behind him and return to a normal life, one morning Terry turns on the news to find out that his assailant has been caught... and he wasn't the only victim... but he was the only survivor.

What unfolds is a decades-long  journey towards closure, that leads him through the perils of  denial, addiction, obsession, and ultimately forgiveness.

It's also scary as shit.
